This Season's Twist
What do you get when you combine the strategic gameplay of Survivor and the adreline-pumping tasks of TAR?
Well, we're about to find out.
Season 3 of TAVR will change the entire TAR game itself- by injecting a layer of strategy previously unknown to the core gameplay of TAR.
In an Amazing Race first, the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop in ELIMINATION LEGS MAY NOT BE ELIMINATED.
That's because the last THREE teams to arrive at the Pit Stop will be in danger of elimination BY VOTING.
Each team begins the race with 2 voting tokens.
The first team to arrive at each leg of the race will have the opportunity to STEAL one voting token from any team of their choice, the only condition being that each team must at least possess ONE voting token, meaning that teams can only steal from other teams that have multiple voting tokens.
The number of voting tokens a team possess will determine the number of times that team can vote during each leg's Voting Ceremony. Teams must vote for one of the three teams marked for elimination and, if they have multiple tokens, they can choose to use all their tokens to vote for one team or split their votes between multiple teams.
The voting ceremonies will occur for ALL LEGS until the last two legs. For the penultimate leg of the race, the last team to arrive WILL be eliminated.
However, BE WARNED: One of the legs BEFORE the Final two legs is randomly pre-determined to follow the normal TAR rules, meaning that the last team to arrive WILL be eliminated and there will be no Voting Ceremony for that leg. However, teams will not know which leg that is, so even if you are in the bottom 3, it is still wise to avoid the dreaded last place position.
During NEL legs, voting ceremonies will occur as usual and only after the voting results are over will the NEL be announced. In NEL legs, the team receiving the most votes will have to perform a Speed Bump in the next leg, slowing that team down.
Opt-Tasks
Opt-Tasks are BACK, but with a vengeance! This time, Opt-Tasks occur during the legs themselves, with the usual rules, the first team to complete it will receive a prize. HOWEVER, this time, the prize is not just limited to cash, but could be anything, from an Express Pass (which allows teams to skip any task they like), an extra Voting Token and more.
Aids and Penalties
In keeping with the strategy portion of this season, ELIMINATED TEAMS can influence the game!
Each eliminated team has the choice of AIDING any team they choose and PENALIZING any team of their choosing!
The team that the eliminated team aids will receive ALL the Voting tokens the eliminated team has amassed right up to their elimination, AND a quarter of the eliminated team's remaining cash (rounded DOWN to the nearest US$).
The team that the eliminated team chooses to penalize MUST complete the Opt-Task in the following leg, but will receive the reward of the Opt-Task if that team completes it first.
It's a race unlike anything you've ever seen. So APPLY NOW to be part of this experience!
