Ep6_183

Having lost so many players and challenges and being whittled down to a small group of 5 meant that the straight Tambaqui tribe had a lot to prove as underdogs.

They came back to win the next two !mmunities, forcing the bonded Jaburu tribe to vote out 2 of their own.

In order to save her friend John from elimination, Jessica actually laid down her torch and took his place as the 8th person to leave the game of Surv!vor: The Amazon. But John was unable to rescue himself from his many accumulated votes in the Tr!bal Council urn, and followed his friend's elimination immediately after.

Ep7_334

The Final 11 heralded the merge of both tribes into the Jacare tribe. Despite the symbolic arrival of the individual !mmunity necklace and both tribes sharing the same camp, the game was still very much divided this season, with tribal - and sexuality - loyalties coming into play.

In a strategic coup leveraging on Ami's inactivity, the original Tambaqui members devised a plan to eliminate her from the game despite their own side being down on numbers, and Ami was sent packing.

But the gay players definitely fought back. Having found the Hidden !mmunity Idol, JP realized that this was their chance to wrest back control in the game. But the problem was, who was the original Tambaqui going to target?

Ep4_0583

JP used the idol on ally Shambo, and as the votes were read for JP himself, it seemed like a grave mistake had been made in one of the most exciting Tr!bal Councils ever.

But as the last 2 votes emerged for Shambo, and were nullified, Christy found herself sent to Ponderosa as the game's first Juror.
