Jordan, sorry I didn’t post my final words right after Mike when I wasn’t even home and out with friends on a Saturday night. I’m such a bad person for waiting for the next morning when I’m available. Next time I’m in a Final 3 with you, I’ll get your schedule so we can plan this out better.
Brandon’s Final Statement
I’m glad I got the opportunity to answer your questions and give you insight into my game that many of you probably didn’t realize existed at first. In spite of looking like I played a UTR game, just like Brad I had made it that way. I didn’t receive a vote until the Final 4 of this game, which should say a lot about how I can handle situations like these.
One thing I didn’t like about this game is how personally people took actions. I realize that you have to build relationships and these emotions get in the way, but I think in the end: IT IS JUST A GAME. It’s like if I’m playing Monopoly or any other game with friends, I’m not going to just sit there while everyone else buys properties and builds hotels and sends me to jail and have me be complacent to that. If you want to win the GAME, you have to go against people you like even though you know they would be a threat. I didn’t make certain actions in this game because I had a vendetta against anyone. I tried to play in a strategic way under the assumption we were all mature people who could handle a vote against them (especially if you’ve been playing in ORGs for like… years and years and years).
Jury, vote with your gut and let’s finally end this game. Honestly, I think it’s a toss-up at the moment… I think whoever wins will be fine since we all played the game in our own way and we have things to show for it. Thanks to everyone for being patient and enduring the long rounds and the short-notice challenges. It’s felt like ages since Spencer was voted out of Jaburu so I have an inkling how anxious everyone is for this game to be over.
