Brandon answers Jenna's questions!

Q1: I think that the main disadvantage that I had coming into the game was that I hadn’t played a thread game at FGC for so long. I actually don’t even remember what my last thread game at FGC was. I knew other people would constantly talk about their relationships with each other from last game and why these people are going after each other and these people are close, but I was never privy to that knowledge. I met and grew close to a lot of new people through this game and not a previous game. The only people I really had some sort of connection with previous to this game was JP, Brad, Shawna, Ryan (kinda), and then people that were voted out pre-jury (Joanna, Rob, Charlie). I had to try and build relationships myself because I knew I was already starting 3 steps behind most everyone else.

Q2: If I could change one thing in the game, I would probably have chosen to be closer than I was with Todd. I knew about his Final 3 with Brad and JP for practically the whole game, so I probably should have said something to him and that I knew his secret and then offered him something better just to make my end game a lot less stressful than it turned out to be. I had contemplated saying something at the Final 7 vote to him, but the way he was talking to me made it seem like he was completely brainwashed by other people and wasn’t considering really any alternative – he just wanted to vote alongside JP, the person he probably trusted the most. If Todd and I had more of a mutual trust, I think it would have benefited both of us in a Final 3 or 2 scenario.

Q3: I have thought for a long time that JP would get a handful of votes just because out of the three of us he’s been the most visible not only to the other contestants but the public as well (being a target, using the idol, etc.). I could see him getting votes because on surface level it looks like JP played more of a game than Brad and me. I would hope that the jury would really look and analyze how we played our games because more often than not you’re not going to get three people that played an OTT game. You’re going to get people that played a more subdued and sneaky game who didn’t make their intentions and moves public for all the world to see. So, in this regard, JP will have the advantage since his name has been thrown around a lot.
