Description:

Big Brother WPS 2 came about when I was bored over Winter Break, and decided that I wanted to host a game that incorporated nearly every twist I've always wanted to use. For that reason, I designed the Reality Roulette wheel, which each evictee would spin to determine the twist for the next round. Some of them were frankly ingenious—my favorite is still "Dr. Frankenstein," where Irina was able to choose two players to merge together for one round. She chose Sugar and Daisy, and thus created a hideous equine monster I labeled "Sugaisy." No one seemed to find that funnier than me.

Among my other favorite twists were a public nomination and eviction, a secret HoH, and Show Swap!, where they played Survivor for a round. I will say that this was among the most difficult games of mine to play, because some of the twists were very radically different from what people expected, and there were lots of punches to roll with. Some of them did a great job, but others fell by the wayside. I'd say the standouts of the season were Jeanine, Daisy, Sugar, Ericka, Parvati, and Tiffany, who was evicted far too early in my opinion (the only person who genuinely fell victim to a twist I hoped would take out an inactive player.) We had some problems with inactivity that ultimately led to a very different ending than I had planned—Renee's disappearance from FGC left me with an even jury, which ultimately deadlocked in a 4-4 final vote for both Jeanine and Daisy. Because the replacement juror didn't vote, either, I decided that it was a fair ending for both of them to win. They had survived a great deal, and both Jeanine and Daisy had been strong players from the very beginning. Daisy had overcome her previous hatred of Sugar and the fact that she was very mouthy in WPS1, while Jeanine ultimately backstabbed Sugar, her pre-game friend, because she was fed up with everyone's belief that she wasn't playing to win.

All in all, it was a good game, and I very much enjoyed hosting it, even though I wanted to strangle some of the cast for frequently missing deadlines. I had a very hard time choosing between this and the game I ultimately ranked at #4, for reasons I will explain later on. However, because I loved the twists, and many of the players surprised me with how well they played, BB WPS 2 comes in at fifth place on this countdown.
