J.P.'s Opening Statement
Hey ya'll, it's J.P. So it's been a crazy ride to get to this point in the game and I'm not really sure how to begin. I guess I should start where this thing all started: with my desire to end my gaming career with a bang. I'm not sure how many of you witnessed last season of Surv!vor or were involved, but originally that was going to be my last game for a while. However, I wanted to finish on a good note and ended up having the worst string of bad luck that prevented me from reaching my goal by 2 spots. So, my goal for this game was redemption and I think sitting here right now is a huge accomplishment in itself. But I've wanted to win this game from day 1, not just make it to the end, so my job's not finished yet.
I'm not going to go in depth into my strategy just yet, because I know a lot of people will probably have questions about that. But what I can say is that at every moment of this game I gave my 110%. For whatever reason, I faced a lot of obstacles that really made the game much more difficult for me. At every turn, it seemed like someone was trying to get me out. Why people labeled me as such a huge threat, I'm still not sure. Perhaps it was because of my reputation, perhaps it was because of the fact I used the HII at a game changing Tribal Council, or perhaps it was because I never slacked and gave 100% at every challenge I could. But the difference between my game and the games of my competitors was that I was clearly the biggest target out of our alliance and was still able to make it to the end with people turning on me left and right.
I hope regardless what happens the 8 of you get what you need to out of it in order to make the best informed decision possible. During the game,
I tried to talk to each and every person in the game as best I could (given my retarded schedule and dramatic life events) and I think I strategically played the best game I possibly could given the circumstances that took place. I didn't just sit back and let people play the game for me, but took my fate into my own hands and made moves myself. I just think I had the most working against me going into this game and during this game, and the fact I was able to persevere through them and still end up in the end makes me the most deserving of your vote. And if that doesn't work, I'll gladly post some revealing pictures. I do like it dirty after all.
Thanks to Ashley for hosting and to all of you for making this game what it was. I had a great time and I really can't wait to see who takes it all. Good luck to my competitors, but mostly good luck to me.
May the best faggo win!
- J.P.
