I've read a shitload of short stories this year, but I read The Crucible, The Scarlet Letter, and am reading The Great Gatsby
now. I think Catcher In The Rye is coming up. I read Fahrenheit 451 on my own.

I learnt' The Great Gatsby', 'A Streetcar named Desire' and 'Pride and Prejudice' in Malay.Never really got to reading the English
versions. :p
I agree, the first few chapters of 'The Great Gatsby' were rather boring.

how quickly this thread dies when school ends. anyway, i'm almost done with my summer math class and i THINK i am going to pass it! it's a miracle.
this 2 year nightmare might be over, after dropping one class, withdrawing from another, and failing two (which thankfully neither of which affected my gpa)
the 5th time might be the charm. i have pulled off miraculous Cs on my first 2 tests, and as long as i can do the same for the last test and the final next
week, i should be good. thank god this will also not affect my gpa. *crosses fingers*

UGH
I have so much shit to do, with rehearsals taking up half my time! Do you guys frequently have final essays? They changed the format because people are bad cheaters, saying that "it's more realistic". They used give us 4 debatable questions we need to write a thesis on in 4 minutes, and one is picked out of a hat. Now it's four general topics, and we randomly pick one and get the question there. My facebook is EXPLODING with people flipping the fuck out. I need to read pretty much half of [i[Catcher In The Rye[/i] by Friday and character notes for a test, math test friday, spanish final orals start tomorrow, i need to pretend I know what I'm doing for my musical theatre song, Ace my history essay tomorrow, chem lab, history test monday, and THEN finals start. FML.

I'm going to an orientation on the 22nd and I need to have taken a foreign language placement test by then. I really need to start brushing up on German
HARDCORE so I can do well on the placement test. I'll absolutely kill myself if I don't test out of some classes.

soooo i think i PASSED my math class!!! wooo it's a miracle haha. the 5th try was the charm. so now i never have to deal with math in my life again, except
for one statistics class next spring, and then i will be done forever.
and then in russia news, i sent in my visa application to the russian embassy a week ago or so, and now i'm just waiting on the official invitation to come through. in july i think i'm going to get more information on my housing and host family, as well as flight information and stuff so i can buy my ticket.
